- Description:I witnessed a bloke who had already struggled to drive his boat under the harbour bridge in Weymouth. I know little about tides but knew it was rising. Had he waited half an hour he would have had the bridge lift and easily get back. I assume the harbour master told him he couldn’t moor the boat there so instead of waiting and already getting a harbour reaction going under the first time, he appeared 20 mins later coming back under the bridge. He smashed the navigation system right off the boat. To give him his dues, he moored up on the other side of the harbour and got out and bowed, BUT that 10 minute mistake cost £1000’s
